Yes, I am still here in thành phố Vũng Tàu, Việt Nam, on the brink of a change in employment (but not scenery) as I have just 4 days to go on my contract with ILA Vietnam, after which I will only be teaching privately. Some busy times are coming up, but I hope that the Internet gods and my schedule will give me a chance to update everyone on some of the travels that Bảo and I have made during the past 9 months.
In the meantime here are a few 50th birthday pics! The card was made by my very creative and talented colleague Lisa. Edwin and Ý joined me and Bảo for a birthday dinner at Vỹ Dạ restaurant, and treated me to many types of chocolate cake. Edwin also kindly reversed the number order for the candles!
